What is TEDxMargalla?

TEDxMargalla is a TED licensed conference that aims to bring together some of the most brilliant ideas and innovative thinkers from around Pakistan to give the talk of their lives. Our conference is the only city-wide TEDx conference based in Islamabad and promises an inspirational journey to all our attendees and live viewers. Our first conference was held in Dec 2010 and now we are gearing up to bring the second chapter of this event in March, 2012.

When and Where?

The second chapter of TEDxMargalla is set to take place on March 31st, 2012 in Islamabad with theme 'Rethinking Pakistan' and we can't tell you how excited we feel about it. Who's Speaking?

After a careful selection our team has finally been able to select a couple of speakers who we think perfectly fit in our theme of 'Rethinking Pakistan' for TEDxMargalla 2012. As we love being a tease, you can check back on our website as we'd unveil a new speaker daily leading up to TEDxMargalla 2012.

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMargalla, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMargalla event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
